What you need to know My client based in North-Westmeath is looking to expand their IT team and hire a Senior IT Systems Administrator As the Senior IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the smooth running and security of IT systems.
The role combines day-to-day system security, administration, governance and support.
You will collaborate with Systems Engineers and IT Managers.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical administration skills, ERP knowledge, and the ability to deliver IT services.
Key duties & responsibilities: Infrastructure & Systems Administration, server hardware, Microsoft configuration, networking, end-user equipment, troubleshooting, manage helpdesk tickets System audits Maintain cybersecurity practices, security, compliance & risk Work with the Information Systems team to maximise the use of ERP systems Build and maintain reports and dashboards (Crystal, Excel, Power BI, or ERP-native tools) Collaborate with business leaders to align IT initiatives with strategic objectives Manage, train & mentor IT teams MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT & FULL IRISH DRIVING LICENSE What are we looking for?
