Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Finance Officer to manage our finances and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate, post, and scan patient and agency invoices.
* Carry out successful credit control of patient and agency debt, setting targets and developing relationships with external agencies.
* Develop an understanding of systems used, including Sap, PAS, and Claimsure.
* Liaise with patients and external agencies regarding queries and ensure timely completion of tasks.
* Collaborate with other departments to discharge duties efficiently.
* Achieve cash collection targets and perform other administrative duties as required.
* Participate in legislative and regulatory requirements related to Health and Safety.
Qualifications and Experience
* Hold at least Grade D (or pass) in five subjects, including Mathematics and English or Irish, from the approved list of subjects in the Department of Education Leaving Certificate Examination.
* Obtain at least Grade C (or honours) in higher-level papers in three subjects or hold a comparable standard in any equivalent examination.
* Hold a third-level qualification of at least degree standard (QQI level 7).
* Have a minimum of 1 year's satisfactory clerical experience in a patient or customer service-related area, encompassing demonstrable equivalent skills.
* Possess sufficient administrative capacity to discharge the functions of the grade.
