The Role
Our client is seeking a
4D Planner
to join their
International Pre-Construction Team
. This is a
fully office-based position in Maynooth, Co. Kildare
, with occasional travel to project sites in Ireland and internationally.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing 4D planning models that integrate project schedules with 3D design models. This role is critical in supporting pre-construction planning, visualising project sequences, and ensuring accurate and efficient delivery strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain 4D planning models using industry-standard software.
* Integrate project schedules with 3D models to create visual construction sequences.
* Collaborate with design, engineering, and project management teams to optimise planning.
* Support tendering and pre-construction activities with accurate 4D simulations.
* Provide technical advice and training on 4D planning tools and processes.
Requirements
* Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in 4D planning and scheduling within large-scale projects.
* Proficiency in tools such as Synchro, Navisworks, or similar.
* Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery methodologies.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits.
