Health & Safety Officer

We are seeking an ambitious, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with a proven track record in a Safety role with a Main Contractor to become part of the McKeon Group Construction team. EHS Duties
* Ensure compliance with all EHS legislation in consultation with EHS Manager
* Adherence to & implementation of Site Specific Safety & Environmental Management Plans
* Preparation of RAMS in consultation with Site Manager
* Liaise with subcontractors due on site
* Approve all RAMS for site
* Control log in / out of site
* Conduct all inductions & ensure all relevant training is in place
* Toolbox talks on site
* Issuing & control of permit to work system
* Daily site walks / Inspections / Audits
* Ensuring Site Housekeeping is up to standard
* Subcontractor Safety Reviews
* Attendance at and reporting at site meetings where relevant.
Site Administration Duties
* Drawing Controller for Site
* Control of site diary stats – numbers on site / subbies / weather etc
* Assist site Manager with RFI register
* Control of deliveries and delivery dockets
* Scheduling meetings and acting as minute taker
* Assistance with O&M preparation
* Other duties as assigned by Site Manager
* Other duties/projects as required
