Project Engineer Role
Catalyx is seeking a skilled professional to lead engineering projects on our customer site in Cork.

Responsibilities:
* Lead project delivery on time, within budget, and meeting all quality and safety goals.
* Scope new engineering projects and secure capital approval.
* Participate in commissioning and qualification activities for current and future projects.
* Update management and stakeholders on project progress.
* Coordinate specialist trades and departments.
* Interface with third parties, including suppliers, customers, and service providers.
* Manage project documentation.
* Estimate costs and manage project scheduling.
* Report project progress and identify risks.
* Conduct constructability, maintainability, and operability studies.
* Manage project resources.
* Check system conditions and organize project meetings.
* Provide project-related training as needed.
* Conduct retrospective project reviews and participate in cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
* Third-level qualification in Engineering, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Science.
* Experience delivering engineering projects in a GMP regulated environment.
* Qualification in Project Management.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Experience with SAP, LIMs, and/or other business systems.
* Training in 6-Sigma/Kepner-Tregoe or similar problem-solving methodologies.
* Experience working in an engineering team in a multinational corporate environment.
