By providing predictive, decision-ready insights driven by the world’s most accurate data, NDT Global enables the conditions for asset owners to optimize infrastructure health and drive operational efficiencies while reducing risk and minimizing their carbon footprint.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced E-Learning Specialist to design, develop, and deliver high-quality, operationally focused training programs. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in instructional design and technical training. This person should be proficient with Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise) and be familiar with posting and managing content to a Learning Management System (LMS). Experience in, knowledge of and a desire to see how AI is making e-learning more effective would be an advantage.

The successful person will work closely with the Talent Development Team in promoting a Learning Culture and providing a dynamic and accessible learning environment. Success in this role would be cultivating a culture of continuous learning and driving growth and innovation across all teams.

Key Responsibilities

Instructional Design:


o Apply best practices in instructional design principles to create impactful training materials (Blooms, Addie).
o Carry out Training Needs Analyses and collaborate with SMEs to identify Instructional Goals.
o Design and develop engaging, interactive, and effective e-learning courses using Articulate 360.
o Develop High Level Outlines, Objective Level Outlines, storyboards, scripts, and prototypes for online courses.
o Create smart simulations.
Operational Training Focus

o Design training programs that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness across all engineering, data analytics, and project management teams.
o Develop simulations, scenarios, and real-world problem-solving exercises to enhance practical application of skills.
o Translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and engaging learning content.
o Ensure training materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with industry standards (SCORM).
Course Development And Delivery

o Utilize Articulate 360 to build interactive e-learning modules, including quizzes, assessments, and multimedia elements.
o Deliver online training sessions and webinars as needed.
o Continuously evaluate and improve training programs based on learner feedback and performance metrics.
Collaboration And Support

o Work closely with engineering teams, HR, and other stakeholders to identify training needs and develop customized solutions.
o Provide support and guidance to learners, addressing technical issues and facilitating a smooth learning experience.
o Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in e-learning and instructional design.
Qualifications And Experience

* Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in designing and delivering e-learning courses using Articulate 360.
* Strong background in instructional design and adult learning principles.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple learning projects simultaneously.
* Knowledge of various Learning Management Systems (LMS) - Docebo, eLoomi, 360Learning, LearnUpon, etc.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Skills

* Demonstrable experience in instructional design and learning principles (Blooms, Kirkpatrick, ADDIE Model).
* Ability to create effective learning experiences that are engaging and aligned with learning objectives.
* Ability to tie real-world applications into e-learning course content using the Tell, Show, Do methodology.
* Design effective assessments and certifications using appropriate question types, weighting and assessment tools.
* Knowledge of current and emerging e-learning content authoring tools and AI applications.
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and deliver content that appeals to varied learning needs.
* Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS).
* Data analysis and assessment skills to evaluate the effectiveness of e-learning programs and identify areas for improvement.
