About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our team in Galway, specialising in selling products and services directly to construction sites across the region. The successful candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, site managers, and procurement teams to drive sales growth in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction sector in Galway and surrounding areas.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with construction site managers, contractors, and purchasing decision-makers.
* Conduct regular site visits to understand client needs, provide product demonstrations, and offer tailored solutions.
* Negotiate sales contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
* Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, customer service, technical support) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Maintain accurate sales records and reports using CRM tools.
* Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments.
* Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities relevant to construction.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven sales experience, preferably in construction materials, equipment, or related products.
* Strong knowledge of the construction industry and its purchasing processes.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Full clean driving license and willingness to travel within Galway and nearby construction sites.
* Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Relevant technical or sales training a plus.
