Responsibilities
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Lead collaborates with APP and Division leadership, serving as a liaison, mentor, and overseer for other advanced practice providers. Responsibilities include administrative tasks, reporting, and mentoring APRNs or PAs, and acting as the division's expert on advanced practice issues. Provides clinical leadership, supports professional development, and acts as a bridge between APPs and upper management. Responsible for delivering healthcare services within the scope of a standard care or supervisory agreement, collaborating with physicians and other clinicians to provide preventive, acute, and chronic care, following credentialing and licensure guidelines.
Qualifications
* Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification
* Ohio Registered Nursing License (for NP)
* Master’s degree in nursing or completion of Physician Assistant Program
* Prescriptive Authority certification
* Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
* Ability to maintain safety, quality, and infection control standards
* Knowledge of medication administration and patient care procedures
* Excellent communication skills for patient and family education
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities
* Diplomacy, tact, and interpersonal skills for sensitive situations
* Analytical and critical thinking skills for data interpretation and problem-solving
Pay Range
USD $101,691.00 - USD $161,802.00 per year
