Brand & Packaging Designer
About the Role
Are you a designer who thrives on transforming concepts into impactful visuals that sell? Do you get excited about innovative packaging, smart branding, and cutting-edge tools that push the limits of creativity? We're looking for a Brand & Packaging Designer to bring fresh thinking and design expertise to a fast-paced Commercial team. You'll collaborate directly with the Sales team and clients to develop custom designs that are both visually striking and commercially effective. This role is perfect for someone who's forward-thinking, collaborative, and excited by the possibilities of AI-assisted design and other emerging tools.
Responsibilities
7. Work closely with Sales reps and customers to turn ideas and marketing assets into compelling visual concepts.
8. Design custom packaging and branding visuals that meet business goals and technical specs.
9. Translate briefs or start from scratch to create persuasive designs that help win sales.
10. Produce high-impact marketing collateral (flyers, web banners, presentations, signage, etc.) for internal and external campaigns.
11. Explore and incorporate modern design techniques, including AI tools, to enhance creativity and efficiency.
12. Ensure every design meets production requirements across diverse packaging formats.
13. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work on time.
14. Maintain an organised and accessible digital design library for the wider Commercial team.
Experience & Knowledge
15. Proven background as a Graphic Designer, ideally with experience in packaging, print, or marketing design.
16. Strong portfolio showcasing a mix of packaging, branding, and commercial design work.
17. Solid understanding of print production and packaging formats is a big plus.
18. Comfortable using traditional tools (Adobe Creative Suite) and exploring new ones (including AI-powered design tools).
Tech Skills
19. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop (Premiere is a bonus).
20. Confident working in PowerPoint with clean, on-brand presentation design.
21. Familiarity with production-ready file setup and managing artwork for various print and packaging outputs.
22. Strong digital workflow habits, project files are always well-organized and easy to find.
