Job Description
Oscar’s Restaurant and Out Back, 21 Oliver Plunkett Street, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, N91 KR98. Salary: €34,000 per annum. Hours: 39 hours per week (Full time, permanent).

Role: As Chef de Partie, you’ll be responsible for running your own section, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality dishes. You’ll work closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain a smooth, efficient kitchen operation.
* Key Responsibilities: Prepare and present dishes to a high standard.
* Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.
* Manage stock, orders, and mise en place for your section.
* Contribute to menu planning and development.
* Train and mentor junior staff when required.
* Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role. Strong understanding of kitchen operations and HACCP standards. Ability to perform well under pressure in a busy environment. Passion for food, presentation, and innovation. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
