Key Duties & Responsibilities:Order placement / purchasing from suppliersHelp manage the product supply effectively in the short, medium and long term through effectivebuying and supply chain managementMonitor stock levels against sales projectionsManage shipping schedules to ensure continuity of supplyEnsure stock counts are performed and reconciledMaintain strong working relationships with strategic and long term suppliers to assure quality,value and that delivery targets are met.To assist our sales team with up-to-date, real time product supply chain informationThe successful candidates will have:Excellent communication skillsPrevious experience as part of a successful procurement teamThe ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic sales environmentThe motivation to work on their own initiativeA working knowledge of Excel, Word and Stock Control packagesEducation - Minimum Leaving Certificate, Third Level an advantageAs well as being part of our sales/procurement/buying team the successful candidate will always have one eye on all of our customers' needs and will be expected to perform other essential office duties. At least two years previous procurement/buying experience is essential.
