A full-time permanent position for a Qualified Practice Accountant is available in Tralee, County Kerry. We are looking to recruit a qualified CPA/ACA/ACCA Practice Accountant with 2 years + Practice experience. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and be responsible for client’s Audits, Accounts and Revenue Returns. You will work closely with company Partners, Tax Manager and Administration Departments.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and management accounts for a diverse client portfolio.
* Conduct thorough audits, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Oversee bookkeeping activities, including maintaining accurate ledgers and performing bank reconciliations.
* Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for clients.
* Provide strategic financial advice to clients, helping them optimize their financial performance.
* Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and liaise with tax authorities as necessary.
* Utilize accounting software to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
* Mentor and supervise junior staff, fostering their professional growth and development.
* Stay informed on changes in accounting standards, tax legislation, and industry best practices.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service and support.
Requirements:
* Third level Degree
* CPA/ACCA/ACA Accounting Qualification.
* The suitable candidate will need to have experience in a practice environment.
* Strong team player.
The salary and benefits for this position will be determined according to the experience of the successful candidate and in the region of €40 – €60,000, possibly higher with specific experiences.
