Location: Dublin, Dublin International Study Centre
Be a key member of the Centre’s Student Experience Team, holding primary responsibility for the effective management of data, assessments, and academic administration, ensuring compliance with Study Group Ireland’s policies and QQI regulatory requirements. Report to the Deputy Director - Student Experience and provide line management and supervision to Data & Operations Coordinators and Student Wellbeing & Engagement Officer, supporting their professional development and performance. Support administrative processes related to timetabling, attendance, student records, and compliance reporting. Work within a matrix structure, building strong relationships within the team, with academic and management staff, central Study Group teams, and university partners to maximize student outcomes and satisfaction.
ABOUT THE ROLE
1. Provide leadership and coordination to the Data and Operations Coordinators and Student Wellbeing & Engagement Officer, fostering a collaborative environment focused on delivering excellent student outcomes and experience.
2. Liaise with the Deputy Director – Student Experience to ensure front desk coverage and workload distribution during busy periods or absences.
3. Collaborate with central teams to improve processes and communication, enhancing the student experience.
4. Manage performance of direct reports by setting objectives, conducting reviews, and formal appraisals in line with policies.
5. Encourage and support staff participation in personal development activities.
6. Assist in recruiting new staff, ensuring compliance with QQI standards and internal policies.
7. Promote awareness of compliance requirements and procedures locally.
8. Maintain accurate datasets and student results, producing reports as needed.
9. Act as secretary to governance boards when required.
10. Ensure adherence to Study Group Ireland policies and SOPs.
11. Support quality assurance activities and liaise with central teams on student bookings and assessments.
12. Oversee assessment-related processes, ensuring compliance with QQI standards, confidentiality, and integrity of documentation.
13. Regularly review and update academic administration systems.
14. Coordinate student registration, attendance monitoring, and follow-up on absences and mitigating factors.
15. Respond to student inquiries professionally, fostering positive relationships.
16. Organize student events and collaborate with central teams to improve the student experience.
17. Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Deputy Director or Centre Director.
ABOUT YOU
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* Experience in line management is desirable.
* Supporting students in an educational context.
* Experience in a regulated environment and knowledge of the QQI framework.
