Key Responsibilities
* Operational Management: Ensure the restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently, maintaining high production, productivity, and quality standards. This includes overseeing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
* Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and other personnel. Schedule shifts and manage employee performance to foster a positive work environment.
* Customer Service: Interact with customers to ensure a pleasant dining experience, handle complaints, and gather feedback to improve service quality.
* Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecast financial requirements, and analyze variances to meet financial objectives. This includes controlling costs, managing inventory, and ensuring profitability.
* Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and sanitation practices.
* Menu Planning: Collaborate with cooks to plan menus, estimate food costs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a managerial role.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate staff and enhance customer satisfaction.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various aspects of restaurant operations.
* Knowledge of financial management and budgeting processes.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the food service industry.
* Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position
* Possess a great personality and have a passion for food
* Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead & inspire a team
* Ability to multitask & troubleshoot throughout the department
* Must possess the desire to generate customer satisfaction
* Must possess a good eye for the finer detail
* A "Can do" attitude with a 'Hands on Manager' style of working
* Fluent English ,Chinese language skill would be ideal ,but not essential with excellent communication skills
