We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established FMCG manufacturing business in Co.
Wexford for an experienced Engineering Maintenance Manager to join a modern, highly invested production facility.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, this is a key leadership role with responsibility for the full site maintenance and engineering function, driving operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Lead the Maintenance & Electrical Teams to maximise plant availability and OEE through robust preventative maintenance systems.
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, Hygiene, Food Safety, GMP, BRC, and customer audit requirements.
Drive TPM, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and maintenance functions.
Manage maintenance budgets (OPEX & CapEx), including energy, contractors, and project spend.
Develop team capability through coaching, training, performance management, and succession planning.
Oversee contractor management, installations, and capital projects to agreed standards.
Play a key role in energy management, sustainability, and CSR initiatives.
Act as a senior stakeholder with customers, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Performance Measures
Delivery of site OEE and plant availability targets
Adherence to operational and capital budgets
Preventative maintenance completion and effectiveness
Health & Safety performance and LTA reduction
Continuous improvement and regulatory compliance targets
Skills & Experience Required
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline
Strong experience in FMCG manufacturing (food desirable but not essential)
Proven people leadership experience with a track record of developing teams
Excellent knowledge of manufacturing operations, maintenance systems, and engineering best practice
Experience managing operational and capital budgets
