Role Overview:
Our client, a rapidly expanding data infrastructure solutions company is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth and strengthen their presence across Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional with a passion for sales, strategic business development, and customer relationship management.
In this role, you will play a key part in identifying new opportunities, managing high-value client relationships, and working closely with internal teams to deliver best-in-class solutions. Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and qualify new sales leads within target industries, such as data centers, telecommunications, and commercial real estate.
* Engage with prospective customers to understand their challenges and requirements, and present tailored solutions.
* Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our product portfolio, including hybrid cables, asset tracking systems, and access control solutions.
* Develop and execute account plans to expand our footprint within existing customer accounts.
* Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
* Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to build brand awareness and generate new leads.
* Provide feedback and insights to the sales leadership team to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Candidate Profile:
* 3-5 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the technology, infrastructure, or building automation sectors.
* Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Familiarity with the Irish and international markets, with the ability to adapt to diverse customer needs.
* Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
* Proficient in using CRM systems and sales automation tools.
* Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
