Job description
Pharmacy OTC Sales Assistant required by an independent pharmacy in Dublin city centre (Full Time or Part-time - No Weekends - No Late Evenings).
Candidates should have at least 1 year Irish community pharmacy experience and a good knowledge of over-the counter medicines.
This is a 25 to 35 hours per week permanent position, with opportunities for additional hours. The position can be either Full-time or part -time to suit the candidate and the company.
Working Hours:
4 or 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, giving a total of up to 35 hours per week
No late evenings, Saturdays or Sundays
Duties:
* OTC pharmacy sales
* Receipt of prescription orders from customers
* Taking passport photographs
* Maintaining shop presentation including floors, shelves & windows
* Managing stock rotations and stock flow
* Ordering and booking-in stock on EPOS till system
* Daily end-of-day cash routine on till
* Other associated duties

Requirements:
* Minimum of 1 year Irish Community pharmacy experience
* Familiarity with Irish pharmacy prescription schemes
* Familiarity with Healthmail
* Must be a team player
* Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise work
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* A friendly and approachable manner
* Job references essential
