HR Business Operations Support IV - German Speaker - 12 month contract

Responsibilities

* Contribute to a world-class employee experience by applying HR best practices effectively and consistently.
* Provide deep business knowledge and HR expertise to HR business partners (HRBPs) to enable strategic support across the organisation.
* Coordinate responses to complex, escalated HR cases.
* Elevate on-demand solutions (HR Portal, HR virtual assistant, Workday) as the go-to knowledge resource for HRBPs and their clients.
* Collaborate across the HR function to establish operational standards and procedures for responding to HRBP questions, ensure transactions are processed accurately, and administer HR programs and processes efficiently.
* Contribute to continuous improvement with AskHR country coordinators and the HR Services team; improve processes and information flow between HR Partners and other parties.
* Verify required documentation and troubleshoot HR transactional processes across HR applications and systems.
* Own assigned cases escalated to you until closure with the end user.
* Serve as a contact for AskHR and HRBPs on questions related to Medtronic global, regional, and country HR policies, procedures, benefits, HR systems, and programs.
* Maintain HR documents/records and generate letters, contracts, and other HR-related documents needing local completion.
* Support a wide variety of general HR projects for EMEA HR with clerical and project coordination support.
* Assist Senior Leaders with queries related to HR systems (Workday, Recognise System, Taleo) and direct customers to resources and self-service tools.


Key Skills & Experience

* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
* Qualified in a relevant Business or HR discipline is advantageous.
* Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
* Proficient in MS Office programs.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and time-management skills; ability to work in cross-functional teams.
* Well organized with strong follow-up skills; results- and quality-oriented; strong organizational and coordination skills.
* Active listener, team player with effective problem-solving abilities.
* Workday or ServiceNow knowledge is a distinct advantage.
