This role is based in our Letterkenny office 2/3 days per week.At PGIM, You Can!What You Will DoProvide production management for systems used by Front Office, Operations, and Client teams.Provide oversight for the PGIM Fixed Income technology batch environment.Own the operation, monitoring, and integrity of the technology platform, including complex nightly data import processes from multiple external vendors.Be on-call for failure escalations including evenings and weekends on a rotation basis.Participate in incident and problem management processes, accountable for resolution, root cause analysis and technology/business reporting as well as communication.Ensure reliability and resiliency of production environment following incident, change and problem management processes.Maintain relationships with internal business and technology stakeholders.Navigate the broader technology organization and build relationships with critical technology partners.Interface with external vendors and their technical support/development teams to focus on resolution of issues and strategic enhancements.What You Will Need5+ years of experience in a technology role, preferably in software development and/or application support.A hunger for continuous learning and improving the status quo.Strong communication skills and an enthusiastic team player.Strong research, analytical, investigation and troubleshooting skills.A tenacious sense of ownership and a desire to bring incidents to resolution quickly.Experience with writing database queries using SQL (MS SQL preferred).Familiarity with navigating and writing commands in the Linux operating system.Experience with scheduling tools (Autosys preferred).Excellent documentation skills with the ability to document processes and incident resolution steps.What We Would Love to SeeExperience working in Cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure).Software development skills to perform code changes for bug fixes or automation tasks.Self-motivated to operate independently and make necessary decisions within the global team.Ability to prioritize effectively within a dynamic global environment.Strong team player, results oriented with a flexible approach.Ability to present technology concisely to the business locally and globally.Good interpersonal and communication skills with excellent relationship-building abilities.Comfortable operating in high-pressure environments while managing multiple incidents.Ability to deal with and navigate difficult situations through teamwork.PGIM welcomes all applicants, even if you don\'t meet every requirement.
