Social Media Marketing Specialist (Dublin | Hybrid)
Permanent Contract – Full Time
Salary Range €35k–€45k
The First Home Scheme is expanding its Marketing team, and we’re looking for a creative, data‑driven Social Media Marketing Specialist to help us grow our digital presence and connect with first‑time buyers across Ireland.
Role Overview
The ideal candidate will lead and manage our social and digital channels end‑to‑end — from strategy and content creation to paid campaigns, community management, and performance optimisation. You will also collaborate with internal teams, influencers, and agency partners to scale our reach and build trust with our audience.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute social media strategies across all relevant social media platforms
Create compelling content (copy, images, video) tailored to each channel
Manage community engagement and foster positive online interactions
Build and maintain a monthly content calendar
Analyse performance metrics and optimise campaigns
Manage paid social campaigns, budgets, and targeting
Coordinate influencer partnerships and UGC creators
Capture testimonials, customer stories, and event content
Support website content updates
Work with agency partners on traditional advertising
Attend and support marketing events and webinars
Ky Requirements
Level 8 qualification in Marketing and Digital marketing
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in social media marketing
Strong understanding of platform best practices
Proven ability to create engaging, original content
Experience running paid social campaigns
Strong analytical mindset with reporting experience
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Familiarity with tools like Canva, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Analytics
Understanding of SEO and digital marketing fundamentals
