We are now seeking a Commercial Sales Manager to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused individual who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and helping customers find the right technical solution to their challenges.
About the Role
This is not a transactional sales role.
We're looking for someone who can engage with customers, understand their operational requirements and work with our technical teams to develop practical, value-added solutions.
You’ll build relationships with Local Authorities, contractors, consultants, utilities and industrial customers, identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts while developing new business across our target markets.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth and supporting the continued expansion of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow sales opportunities across the water, wastewater and industrial sectors.Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities.Build trusted relationships with customers, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.Understand customer challenges and work with internal technical teams to develop effective solutions.Prepare and present proposals, quotations and commercial submissions.Negotiate and close contracts and service agreements.Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline through the CRM system.Gather market intelligence and identify emerging opportunities.Represent CULLY at customer meetings, industry events and networking opportunities.Collaborate closely with engineering, project management and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.
About You
You may come from a sales, engineering, automation, instrumentation, utilities or technical services background.
What is most important is your ability to understand customer needs and communicate technical solutions in a clear and commercially compelling way.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
Experience selling technical, engineering or solution-based products and services.Strong business development and relationship management skills.The ability to engage confidently with engineers, consultants, operational managers and senior decision-makers.Experience preparing proposals, quotations and commercial submissions.Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.A proactive and self-motivated approach to developing new business opportunities.A full clean driving licence.
Desirable
Experience within water, wastewater, utilities, automation, instrumentation or industrial sectors.Engineering, technical or related qualifications.Experience using CRM systems.
