We are currently recruiting for a key administrative support role in Kilkenny, set in a busy reception area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing essential services to ensure efficient and effective office operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Patient Coordination: Handle check-ins, discharges, and ensure accurate documentation.
* Records Management: Update and maintain electronic health records (EHR) with strict confidentiality.
* Communication Hub: Serve as a main contact for calls and information relay between clinical staff and families.
* Scheduling: Manage bed assignments and support scheduling for patient appointments and follow-ups.
* Administrative Support: Handle office supplies, documentation, and assist clinical staff as needed.
* Emergency Support: Provide essential documentation and coordination support during critical incidents.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Education: Medical administration training is preferred.
* Experience: Clerical experience in a healthcare setting; familiarity with EHR systems.
* Skills: Strong organization, communication, and multitasking abilities.
Benefits
The pay scale for this role is €16.87- €26.25 per hour, depending on previous relative public sector experience. The role is full-time, shift-based, with 24/7 availability. A temporary month-to-month contract applies.
