Job Description:

As an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee the financial aspects of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) projects from inception to completion. Your role will involve managing project budgets, cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, cost control, risk management, and client liaison.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management: Lead and direct teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
\
2. Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare accurate cost estimates, manage project expenditure, and maintain financial reports.
\
3. Procurement: Source and procure materials, equipment, and services for M&E projects.
\
4. Contract Management: Negotiate and administer contracts with contractors, suppliers, and clients.
\
5. Cost Control and Reporting: Monitor and control project costs, prepare regular financial reports, and provide accurate forecasts.
\
6. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
\
7. Client Liaison: Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns, and ensuring high client satisfaction.

Requirements:

We require a highly skilled and experienced candidate with:
\

8. A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
\
9. At least 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, focusing on M&E projects.
\
10. Membership of a professional body such as RICS or CIOB is desirable.
