Community Development Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated Community Development Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with communities and has a desire to make a positive impact.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing community projects, working closely with community groups and stakeholders to identify needs and develop solutions. They will also assist with grant applications, provide technical support to community clients, and coordinate with project managers and grants teams.
* Liaise with community groups to understand their needs and develop solutions.
* Organize quotes for energy audits and provide information on financial supports available.
* Coordinate with project managers and grants teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Meticulous attention to detail and ability to take initiative.
* Excellent IT skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint.
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain high levels of professionalism.
* Time management and resilience in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Desirable Criteria
Previous experience in grant applications, tendering, technical administration, or document management would be an advantage. Knowledge of Near Zero Energy Building regulations and familiarity with SEAI Technical Standards would also be beneficial.
