Job Title:
Financial Controller at Wallace’s Group

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional products and services to our diverse clientele. We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller based in our Wellingtonbridge office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the executive team and board of directors. Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
* Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives. Oversee long-term budget planning and cost management.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Monitor and update forecasts to reflect current business realities.
* Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
* Cash Flow and Treasury Management: Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency. Oversee relationships with financial institutions.
* Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Facilitate professional development and succession planning within the team.
* Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with other department heads to support overall company objectives. Advise on financial implications of business activities and provide recommendations to enhance financial performance.
Qualifications:
* An appropriate qualification from a recognized accountancy body.
* A minimum of 5+ years of progressive financial experience.
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
* Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and management reporting.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
