Role Purpose
Mulrines established in 1919, is a leading producer of high-quality juice and beverage products
for Retail, Wholesale & Foodservice clients in Ireland & UK, is seeking a dedicated and detail-
oriented Sales Executive. You will be responsible for nurturing relationships with current and
new customers, anticipating their needs and driving sales for Mulrines. You will be a key part of
the Commercial Team and the role will have specific focus on the Foodservice and Wholesale
market in Ireland & UK. This role is a key part of the commercial team in managing customer
accounts, including both own-label and client-label products. This role will require some travel
in Ireland & UK. The successful candidate will provide essential sales & support to ensure the
smooth running of commercial operations and will be integral in supporting the ongoing
success of Mulrines.
Measurable Outputs
1. Develop business relationships with new and existing customers
2. Research opportunities and generate or follow through on sales leads
3. Timely and accurate maintenance of customer account records, including pricing, promotions, and sales data.
4. Successful coordination of product launches and promotional activities.
5. Generation of accurate sales and market performance reports.
6. Effective communication and resolution of customer queries and administrative issues.
7. Efficient completion of general administrative tasks that support the commercial team.
Key Roles & Responsibilities Detail
Account Management:
* Develop trusting relationships with assigned accounts and ensure they are managed effectively in order to retain and grow their business.
* Deal with customer issues as they arise, ensuring swift resolution for the customer.
* Preparation of presentations, proposals, and other documents required.
* Handle incoming communications, including phone calls and emails.
* Analyse sales data, tracked progress, and reported on sales performance to management.
* Ensure customer-specific requirements and requests are communicated effectively within the commercial team.
Product Launch and Promotion Coordination:
* Assist in coordinating product launches and promotional campaigns
* Prepare relevant documentation and tracking promotional performance.
* Liaise with marketing, production, and logistics teams to ensure all aspects of product launches are aligned with customer expectations.
* Ensure distribution of promotional materials and product samples to customers as part of launch initiatives.
Reporting and Analysis:
* Prepare sales reports, market analysis, and other performance data to support strategic decision-making.
* Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends to assist in account management.
* Compile data for internal performance reviews, identifying key areas of success and potential improvement.
* Preparing business reviews and presentations for client meetings.
Customer Communication and Issue Resolution:
* Act as a primary contact for customer queries, providing timely and professional responses.
* Liaise with internal teams, including the order management team, regarding new orders or changes to existing orders, as required.
* Identify and resolve any issues that may impact customer satisfaction, coordinating with relevant departments as needed.
* Maintain regular communication with customers to provide updates on account activities and resolve any routine inquiries.
Person Specification
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data management and reporting.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
* Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
* Full Driving licence
* Experience within the food and beverage industry or similar FMCG environment.
* Knowledge of order management and customer account coordination.
* Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems.
* Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data.
