Quality Manager - Food Manufacturing Location: Co. Kildare Salary: Competitive DOE Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Company: Confidential Food Manufacturer A leading food manufacturing business in Co. Kildare is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the site Quality & Food Safety function. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving food safety, compliance, continuous improvement, and customer standards across a busy manufacturing operation. We are looking for a strong people leader with proven Quality Management experience within the Irish food manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Lead, motivate and develop the site Quality/Technical team Represent Quality at senior management and group level Quality Systems & Compliance Lead and maintain site HACCP and TACCP programmes Manage the Quality Management System and internal audit programme Ensure compliance with BRC, customer, retailer and regulatory standards Lead all external audits including customer, BRC and regulatory audits Drive CAPA and root cause investigations for quality non-conformances Customer & Supplier Management Manage customer complaints, technical queries and investigations Represent the business in customer technical meetings and site visits Oversee supplier approval, supplier audits and supplier performance reviews Testing / Validation / Improvement Oversee traceability, quarantine and shelf-life programmes Requirements Diploma / Degree in Food Science or related discipline 3-5+ years' Quality Management experience within Irish food manufacturing Previous people management / team leadership experience is essential Strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP and food safety legislation Experience leading customer and regulatory audits Ideal Candidate Strategic but hands-on approach Strong leadership and coaching ability Comfortable influencing at senior management level Highly organised with strong problem-solving capability Continuous improvement mindset If you are an experienced Quality professional looking to step into a high-impact leadership role with a progressive food manufacturer, apply today for confidential consideration.
