My client, a leading property and hospitality group seek a part-qualified accountant for their growing business. The Role: Month End Reporting Involvement in month end bank reconciliation and close off processes Assist with the production of monthly management accounts and related board reporting pack Review and Reconciliation of accounts Preparation of Deferred Revenue calculations Day to Day Accounting Posting of receipts Posting of Supplier invoices Reconciliation of the bank accounts and correct allocation of payments/receipts Modelling and forecasting Assist with the preparation of forecasts and budgets Assist with the preparation of forecast summaries to present to senior management. Revenue Reporting Production of bi-monthly VAT returns Annual RTD reporting Annual Audits Assist in the management of the annual audit The Person: Qualified or part qualified accountant. 3+ experience within the hospitality or property industry would be an advantage but general accounts experience from other industries or from an accountancy practice would also be a good fit. Experience of financial modelling and forecasting beneficial but not essential Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and other office 365 products Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to produce quality reports and to present clearly to senior management Knowledge of accounting systems and applications such as Xero advantageous Skills: Financial Accounting Financial Analysis Taxation Reconciliations
