About the Role:
Our client is seeking full-time, permanent Social Care professionals in Cork to support children and young people in residential care.
As a leading national provider, they deliver tailored therapeutic programmes to meet the diverse needs of children and young people.
This role offers the chance to make a real difference while working within a caring and dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver person centred care in line with individual support plans
Assist with daily living skills and meaningful activities
Promote dignity, empowerment, and inclusion
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with care standards
Role Requirements:
Essential:
Candidates must hold a minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a related field.
Other eligible qualifications include:
Psychology, Counselling, Psychotherapy, or Addiction Counselling (QQI Level 7/8)
Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy, Youth and Community, Social Science, Family Support (QQI Level 7)
Nursing, Teaching, Disability Studies, Applied Behavioural Analysis, Early Years Care, Applied Policing, or Custodial Care
No qualification or non-relevant qualification but holder of CORU registration as a Social Care worker (applicant must be CORU registered and have evidence to support same - cannot be awaiting registration).
Desirable:
At least one year of experience in residential childcare
Full driver's licence
