CPL are currently looking to recruit Test and Debug Technicians to work onsite in our client Dell, Ovens.
These are fixed term contracts working between 6-11 months in duration, working 2 cycle/4 cycle shift, paying €15.84 per hour plus shift premium.
General Summary
Performs technical functions supporting Manufacturing activities.
Technical functions may include testing, modifying, assembling prototype board sets, and executing specialized test processes.
Working from test procedures, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans
Utilizing manufacturing test equipment.
May evaluate new processes, products, or problems and design experiments.
Responsibilities
* Applies knowledge of the job, and company policies and principles to complete a wide range of tasks.
* Projects are assigned and require ordinary problem resolution using standard policies, procedures and practical application of the general and technical aspects of the job.
* Works under limited supervision.
* Routine work requires no instruction/General instructions given for new assignments.
* Ability to Identify and elevate critical errors to senior support and Engineering.
* Run daily status reports.
* Work in a fast pace manufacturing environment.
* Requires the ability to move a fully loaded wheeled board rack to wherever it is needed in the factory.
* Must have the ability to safely reach and remove a PCBA from a 3 tier storage rack.
* Requires the dexterity to unpack boxes of PCBA's when required.
* Requires close vision capability to recognize characters and bar-coding at 20 inches or less.
* Able to manipulate a scan gun and a computer keyboard.
* Interface with test and design engineers to introduce new products and processes.
* Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor.
