MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
Ensure an adequate oversight and governance framework is in place for product development and underwriting.
Embed the governance framework in the product development processes, ensuring consistent standards across territories and product lines.
Prepare POG documentation for new or changed products.
Ensure an adequate oversight and governance framework is in place for the management of the Distribution Partners.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Liaise with relevant stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure adequate POG framework is maintained in line with risk and control system.
Responsible for supporting the Team in all compliance, regulatory and audit projects as they relate to products. Implement Company and Group guidance on POG related matters. Keep abreast of latest developments in product and customer related regulatory requirements.
Assist the relevant team members in preparing and maintaining documentation to satisfy requirements of PRIIPs, IDD etc..
Contribute to the POG linked activities like Perform product reviews, define the target markets and ensure customer centricity is embedded in the product design process.
KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES
Duties include but are not limited to:
Min 2 years Experience in life insurance and product regulatory framework, in particular with Italian and European sectorial regulations
Business or insurance related experience
Ability to communicate with and influence key stakeholders.
Basic Knowledge of the regulatory framework.
Attention to detail and ability to translate regulatory / oversight requirements into practical business procedures.
Fluent in English. Italian language desirable but not essential
