Finance Project Manager
Initial 6 months daily rate contract
Dublin city center (min 2 days per week onsite)
Overview:
We are looking for a Strategic Finance Project Manager to drive finance transformation programmes. The successful candidate will oversee a broad range of finance initiatives, ensuring they align with organizational goals while delivering measurable efficiency and impact.
Experience with M & A is preferred**
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate multiple finance projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
* Create and manage tools, dashboards, and reports to track project milestones, dependencies, and performance.
* Anticipate risks and challenges across the project portfolio, implementing appropriate solutions.
* Partner closely with senior finance leadership to align transformation initiatives with long-term strategy.
* Review existing financial processes and governance frameworks to recommend improvements.
* Serve as the primary point of contact between finance teams and internal/external stakeholders.
* Design and execute communication strategies to support cultural change and adoption of new practices.
* Ensure projects adhere to regulatory standards and internal governance policies.
* Organise and facilitate workshops, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions to support new systems and processes.
Required Experience:
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
* At least 5 years of experience in project management, finance operations, or business transformation.
* Strong track record of managing complex, multi-stream projects.
* Solid understanding of financial controls, reporting, and compliance.
* Ability to deliver results in fast-moving environments.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
* Recognised professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, PMP).
* Experience in finance transformation or implementation of new financial systems.
