We are seeking an experienced Employment Legal Counsel to join our in-house counsel team.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide legal advice on a broad range of employment topics, including recruiting, hiring, restrictive covenants, training, performance management, separations and occupational health and safety. This includes advice on compliance with relevant employment laws and associated guidance in Ireland and corresponding regimes in Europe.
1. Stay up to date with legal and regulatory developments which impact us as an employer in Ireland and Europe.
2. Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop timely responses to those developments.
3. Draft workplace policies and handbooks that meet the requirements of Irish law.
4. Negotiate contracts of employment for new hires.
