Project Manager & Project EngineerRichard Nolan Civil Engineering is expanding and we are seeking experienced and motivated professionals to join our growing Utilities & Infrastructure team. We are currently recruiting for both Project Managers and Project Engineers with experience in ESB, utilities, or civil infrastructure projects.Successful candidates will play a key role in the delivery of utility and civil infrastructure projects from planning and coordination through construction and commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery and coordination of ESB and utility infrastructure projects from inception to completionSite engineering, setting out, and technical supportCoordination of construction crews, subcontractors, and specialist suppliersProgramme management, resource planning, and productivity monitoringPreparation of QA documentation, daily records, progress reports, and as-built informationLiaison with ESB Networks, Uisce Éireann, Local Authorities, clients, and utility stakeholdersManagement of health & safety, quality assurance, and environmental complianceSupport project planning, permitting, traffic management, and reinstatement requirementsCommercial awareness including variations, change management, and project reportingMonitoring project progress, programme performance, risks, and costsCandidate RequirementsLevel 8 qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related disciplineProject Manager: 4–7 years’ experience in utilities, power, or infrastructure deliveryProject Engineer: 2–5 years’ experience in utilities, ESB, telecoms, water, or infrastructure sectorsExperience working within live utility environments desirableExperience with ESB Networks, utility ducting, cable installation, substations, or public realm utility works beneficialKnowledge of permit systems, traffic management, and utility coordination advantageousStrong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work within fast-paced operational environmentsFull clean driving licenceSafe Pass and relevant utility certifications desirableSalary: DOE (Depending on Experience)Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMStatutory Sick PayPension Scheme (auto-enrolment or facilitated transfer if already established)
