Job Title: Environmental Compliance Specialist

A career opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our Global Life Science organization in Limerick. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to provide technical assistance with environmental programs, ensuring compliance with local and corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert technical support for environmental programs, including air emissions, wastewater discharges, soil and groundwater management, surface water management, waste management, and environmental noise control.
• Ensure the company adheres to both local and corporate environmental standards, acting as the point of contact for environmental compliance.
• Foster a positive culture for environmental performance, facilitating the implementation of various environmental programs across the site.
• Assist in implementing the conditions set out in the sites new IED Licence and Greenhouse Gas Permit, supporting environmental sampling and monitoring requirements.
• Be a resource to all areas, helping them understand regulatory requirements and implement solutions that comply with these regulations and programs.
• Participate in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) improvement projects for optimization, simplification, and streamlining of EHS processes related to Environmental Programs.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science or a related field;
* Four years or more of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry; and
* IED License is essential.
