About the role
An established Construction company is seeking a
Purchasing Manager
to lead procurement across multiple projects.
You'll oversee a small remote team, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective, high-quality sourcing for manufacturing and installation.
Key responsibilities
Manage and appraise suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Negotiate contracts to achieve savings and service improvements.
Develop procurement strategies aligned with project budgets and timelines.
Lead a team of three off-site procurement specialists.
Source materials and services at competitive prices without compromising quality.
Ensure compliance with policies, industry standards, and regulations.
What you'll need
5+ years' procurement experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of procurement in construction.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
Relevant degree preferred.
