We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their dignity and independence.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Offering companionship and emotional support
* Maintaining clients' dignity and respect at all times
* Providing end of life care and dementia care with compassion and empathy
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support
* Personal experience and willingness to work towards QQI Level 5
* QQI Level 5 modules/Care Skills and Care of the Older Person
* The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
