Academic Role in Humanitarian Action

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to fill a temporary position as a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Humanitarian Action within the UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science.

The appointee will be a member of the UCD Centre for Humanitarian Action (UCD CHA), contributing to teaching, research, and administration. The UCD CHA is committed to providing teaching and research in humanitarian action that aims to enhance professionalism in the delivery of humanitarian aid.

Key Responsibilities:

* Contribute to teaching and research within the UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science and the UCD CHA.
* Develop and deliver academic programs related to humanitarian action.
* Pursue research opportunities to advance knowledge in humanitarian action.

Requirements:

* Ph.D. in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
* Strong teaching and research record in humanitarian action or a related field.
* Demonstrated expertise in humanitarian action, including policy, practice, and theory.

* A competitive salary, ranging from €64,112 to €101,524 per annum.
