They are operating across a wide selection of industries and have a dominant presence in Irelands construction market. Industries consisting of data centres / large scale infrastructure and a building division covering areas of residential/commercial/industrial etc
Your new role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial responsibility and ownership for the project, working closely with the Contracts Manager/Project Manager and the construction team to ensure a successful project is delivered, while maintaining relationships and maximising commercial returns and managing risk.Selection of duties:
1. Liaise with & commercially influence/challenge the other members of the team and the construction process.
2. Take ownership for, administer & represent the company in commercial & contractual issues, including but not limited to:
3. Preparing tenders, analysing, selecting appropriate s/c & finalising s/c orders, financial & commercially manage to final Account completion.
4. Prepare & present forecasts, targets & CV reconciliations.
5. Prepare & agree valuations, including generating certificates &invoice/payments.
6. Variations prepare with adequate/appropriate records, agree as works progress.
What you'll need to succeed
7. 5+ years' experience in a Senior Quantity Surveying capacity, across large scale projects valued at €30m+
8. Ability to communicate articulately, both verbally & in writing
9. Manage both people & situations sensitively to commercial advantage.
10. Commercially inventive & astute
11. Demonstrate ownership and commercial awareness
12. Effective time management, organisational, interpersonal and negotiation skills
13. Have experience mentoring and managing others
14. Able to balance the need to be assertive and pragmatic, when dealing with a broad range of stakeholders

may also facilitate hourly/day rate options.On a salary setup, this will be in the €90,000 region. This will include a
Discretionary bonus.
This will include a fully expensed vehicle.You will initially have one day working from home and this will rise to two days after a short period of time.Over time the organisation would also offer professional and educational development.
