We are currently seeking a Restaurant Manager to join the team at The Diamond Coast Hotel.
The role of our Restaurant Manager is to oversee our Coral Restaurant, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all safety and health regulations. The manager will provide efficient, prompt, courteous, and high-quality food & beverage service to guests.
About The Diamond Coast
Located in Enniscrone, The Diamond Coast Hotel boasts a prime location overlooking the Enniscrone golf course, dunes, and beaches. The hotel features 99 spacious, well-appointed rooms with views over the golf course and dunes. The Coral Restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere, excellent cuisine, and a selection of wines. Facilities include a banqueting suite, meeting rooms, and Stir Bistro.
Role/Responsibilities
* Manage all activities of the Restaurant
* Achieve restaurant goals through marketing and sales strategies
* Manage staff performance, conduct reviews
* Manage forecasting systems and inventory
* Identify talent and promote within the team
* Motivate and influence the team professionally
* Coordinate with other hotel departments for operational excellence
* Lead health and safety initiatives
* Delegate tasks to staff
* Work with the Executive Head Chef on menus and specials
* Manage communication and attend management meetings
* Control staffing budgets and costs
* Perform additional duties as required
Requirements
* At least 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager
* Experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel or high-volume food outlet (desirable)
* Proven leadership skills managing diverse teams
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* IT proficiency: Microsoft Office, ResDiary, Micros
* Strong organizational skills
