Dublin, Ireland – Construction Contracts Coordinator at AECOM
Job Overview
The Construction Contracts Coordinator will support the administration of NEC contracts at the Dublin office, ensuring compliance and facilitating contractor and consultant performance.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with contract management standards and contractual terms in contract administration activities.
Implement agreed contract management strategies.
Set and monitor key performance indicators to support contractor and consultant performance management.
Set KPI targets within incentive schedules for NEC contracts and review contractor performance against these targets.
Conduct contractor and consultant performance evaluations, approve results and, where necessary, establish improvement plans.
Provide advice to the Project Manager or Service Manager on contract issues, including compensation events, early warnings and payment applications.
Prepare and issue communications and instructions on behalf of the Project Manager or Service Manager.
Respond to contractors and consultants within contractual timescales.
Liaise with Cost Managers, Schedulers and the Project Manager to confirm quotation acceptances, early warning assessments and programme acceptances.
Administer the early warning process and maintain the early warning register.
Obtain Project Manager approval before issuing communications and instructions, operating within delegated authority.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience in contract administration using the NEC suite of contracts.
Experience monitoring contractor and consultant performance.
Experience in claims management.
Ability to set KPIs and develop incentive schedules for contractors and consultants.
Experience administering NEC contracts.
Experience working within the aviation market.
