Job Opportunity:
A career-driven Process Engineer is required to support our pharmaceutical client in Waterford. This is a 12-month contractor position that presents an exciting opportunity for professionals seeking work in a sterile environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the implementation of continuous improvement projects in existing thawing, formulation, filling, filter integrity testing and wash/autoclave areas to support new product introduction (NPI) and capacity expansion.
* Develop and execute process engineering activities such as cycle development protocols, project improvements, deviations, problem-solving, change controls, and other related tasks.
* Provide technical support on existing Aseptic Syringe Filling Lines including Debagger / Ebeam / Delid / Deline / Isolator / Syringe filling machine with multi-filling technologies.
* Deliver key performance metrics (SQDCI) to support commercial manufacturing and participate in regulatory audits.
Required Qualifications and Skills
* Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
* Strong problem-solving skills and documentation skills.
* 3-5 years of experience in a highly regulated Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.
* Experience in syringe filling would be advantageous.
* Ability to lead major investigations and fill weight cycle development experience for a filling machine.
* Knowledge of new product introduction in sterile manufacturing environments.
