Role Summary
As a skilled site process equipment maintenance technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of various utilities and equipment. Your key objective will be to replace and repair defective mechanical & electrical equipment, instruments, and cabling when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain site process equipment, including utilities, to prevent downtime and ensure efficient production.
2. Replace and repair defective mechanical & electrical equipment, instruments, and cabling as needed.
3. Support process changeovers and cleaning activities to maintain a safe working environment.
4. Carry out scheduled calibrations on process and utilities instrumentation to minimize batch impact and unscheduled equipment downtime.
5. Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance PMs on process and utilities equipment to prevent potential issues.
6. Ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with cGMP requirements.
7. Liaise with Maintenance, Manufacturing, Project, Quality, and other site personnel to meet site objectives.
8. Provide feedback on equipment and spares issues to facilitate timely resolution.
9. Complete required paperwork, including PM documentation, Lockout Tagout log book, and adhere to site protocols.
10. Generate follow-up work orders and alert reports as necessary.
11. Inform relevant site personnel of work impacts or issue results.
12. Safety Protocols
* Adhere to country and site safety protocols at all times.
* Risk assess work tasks to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
* Collaborate with site safety officers for guidance and advice.
* Ensure colleague and personal safety during work activities.
* Participate in Safety meetings and teams to promote a culture of safety.
* Fill out safety documents efficiently and accurately.
* Request method statements from external vendors as necessary.
* Follow site safety protocols, such as Lockout Tagout and permit to work.
Teamwork and Development
* Work collaboratively with Maintenance, Manufacturing, and contractors to achieve shared goals.
* Develop skills through online training and attendance at internal and external courses.
* Stay updated on changes in legislation and improve work practices continually.
* Implement 5 S initiatives in the workshop and across the site to promote efficiency and organization.
* Ensure that areas are cleaned and production-ready after work completion.
