Day Service Facilitator

About the Role
As a Day Service Facilitator, you will enable adults to participate in various activities, including education, employment, sports, and social pursuits. Your role involves supporting individuals in service and community-based programs, identifying and building natural support networks and social roles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in various service and community-based programs.
* Identifying and building natural support networks and social roles.
* Facilitating person-centered planning, capacity building, social inclusion, and positive behavior supports.
* Utilizing alternative communication aids and assistive technology.
Requirements:
* Relevant Third Level Qualification in Social Care, Education, Community Development, or Training (QQI Major Level 6 or higher).
* Minimum three years' experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities.
* Excellent communication, teamwork, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
A full clean driving license and use of own vehicle is required for this role.
