We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Care Worker to join our team in Co Tipperary.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism in a supportive environment. As a Social Care Worker, you will be part of a collaborative team that provides residential and day services across 16 locations.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our service users while developing their skills and expertise in a dynamic and rewarding role.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred care and support to individuals with complex needs
* Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
* Support individuals to engage in activities that promote independence and well-being
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of a safe and inclusive living environment
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
* Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in health or social care
* Have at least one year's experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities
* Be registered with CORU or provide proof of application in progress
* Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
* Be proficient in IT skills relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office and other software applications
* Hold a full driving licence and have access to a car
