Job Title: Experienced Chef de Partie
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen brigade. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality dishes.
Main Responsibilities:
* Taking ownership of a specific kitchen section and ensuring it runs smoothly during service
* Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard
* Ensuring full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and safety guidelines
* Collaborating with the Head Chef and Sous Chef on menu planning and specials
* Supervising and training junior staff and kitchen assistants
* Maintaining accurate food stock levels and contributing to cost control
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef ready to step up
* Formal culinary training or relevant NVQ/QQI Level 3 certificate (preferred)
* Deep understanding of food safety, hygiene, and allergen protocols (HACCP certified)
* Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment
* Strong time management, communication, and organisational skills
* A team player with a proactive and flexible attitude
