Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Administration:
In line with CoAction policies, procedures and best practice standards the Administrative Assistant will provide admin support, answer queries and provide a reception/telephone service.
Keep themselves appraised of relevant documentation and procedures.
Manage data – maintaining, correcting, collating and processing data.
Maintain accurate up-to-date records and filing systems both computerised and paper copy.
Assist with and/or prepare reports as necessary.
Provide required information and support to Service Manager and WCCDNT team members.
Action all communications in a timely manner.
Undertake any other administrative support and assignments as directed.
Represent the WCCDNT in a positive manner.

Qualifications and/or experience
Obtained at least grade D (or pass) in Higher or ordinary level in five subjects in the Department of Education Leaving Certificate Examination, Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme or Leaving Certificate Applied.
OR
Passed an examination of at least equivalent standard.
OR
Satisfactory relevant experience encompassing demonstrable equivalent skills.
AND
Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability and administrative ability.

Professional Knowledge and Experience:
Demonstrate knowledge and experience relevant to the role as per the duties and responsibilities, eligibility criteria and post specific requirements of the role.
Demonstrate excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Outlook.
