This is a strategic role with scope to shape how procurement operates across the business, from supplier selection to cost optimisation and category strategy.What We’re Looking ForWe are seeking a commercially astute and proactive procurement professional with 3–5 years’ experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or food retail supply chains. You should be comfortable managing supplier relationships, negotiating commercial terms, and implementing procurement strategies that balance cost, quality, and service.The RoleReport into the Supply Chain Director and work closely with the Head of Product DevelopmentLead procurement within the newly reorganised Supply Chain function (Planning, Logistics, Procurement)Manage ingredient, packaging, and utility tenders and price negotiationsSource new suppliers in line with production line expansion and NPD/commercial team needsImplement supplier KPIs, category strategies, and procurement systemsConduct supplier audits and ensure compliance with food sector standardsOptimise costs without compromising quality or supplier relationshipsAnalyse spend data and support data-led decision-makingTravel primarily within Ireland and the UKRequirementsSignificant experience in procurement, ideally within FMCG/food manufacturing/food retail supply chainProven success managing supplier relationships and negotiating commercial termsComfortable negotiating with suppliers across Ireland and the UKExposure to category managementExperience in cost optimisation and supplier auditsExperience in commodity purchasing a benefitCommercially astute with strong analytical skillsExcellent communicator across internal and external stakeholdersResilient and adaptable in a fast-paced SME environmentThird level qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business preferredOther relevant: CIPS, APICS, or equivalent certifications are a bonusLocation: Coolock, Dublin 17Working Hours: 40 hours, Monday to FridaySalary: Depending on experienceContract Type: Full-time, permanentBonus opportunity linked to KPI'sPension contributionsBike to work schemeCompany eventsEmployee assistance programOn-site parkingSick payJob DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Purchasing and Supply ChainIndustries: Food and Beverage ManufacturingDublin, County Dublin, Ireland
