Responsibilities
Manage daily business operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
Co-ordinate operational activities across departments to meet company objectives and deadlines.
Develop and implement operational procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Manage suppliers, contractors, and service provider relationships.
Ensure company resources, facilities, and equipment are maintained effectively.
Prepare operational reports, KPIs, and updates for senior management.
Support budgeting, cost control, and resource planning activities.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of operational staff.
Lead and support teams to ensure high performance and strong employee engagement.
Manage on-going projects.
Manage ISO standards, Health and Safety Standards, and the company's Environmental Licence.
The Person
Experience in Operations/Production Management in manufacturing, waste management, recycling or industrial roles.
Excellent project management skills.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Sound understanding of environmental sustainability practices.
Leadership and team management skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in waste management.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Experience supporting or managing Health & Safety, Quality and Environment functions within a workplace environment.
