Temporary Social Care Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and evaluate care plans, placement plans, and treatment programmes as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the written and verbal reporting of general and individual treatment programmes.
- Be familiar with Health Service Executive policies and procedures local and national, ensuring that such policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to develop and deliver one-on-one needs identified.
- Ensure that all information relating to clients, their families, staff colleagues etc is treated in a thoroughly professional manner, in accordance with the principles of confidentiality, data protection legislation, and Freedom of Information.
- Maintain standards of practice and levels of professional knowledge by participating in continuous professional development initiatives and attendance at courses as appropriate.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum QQI Level 7 in Social Care or related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in the area of ID and family support services
- CORU registration completed/started
- A full clean driver's licence
